Fox McCloud Wallpaper by JECBrush Fox McCloud Wallpaper by JECBrush
It's a Star Fox wallpaper featuring the fearless leader Fox McCloud! The image is based off of my fan fic of the series. It took a little time to figure out what the background was going to be, but eventually decided on a GUI-like design to be modifiable for other characters.

I made this for you! Download and enjoy!

Very well done! Omg... that is one of the best pictures of Fox that I have ever seen! :wow:
I just have one question. How do you draw the characters so well? I'm trying to do the whole Star Fox style to a point with my timber wolf character, and I just can't get it to work.

Thank you very much for the compliment! ^^

I recommend studying how Nintendo creates the look of their Star Fox characters and understand their visual and creative ruleset. On a basic level, this ruleset sets the benchmark for any further designs and can be a useful guideline to make something feel it belongs in the Star Fox universe. Bear in mind that knowing this is just a benchmark, not a hardset rule so creativity can have some wiggle room.

For instance, the shape of Fox McCloud's head is quite different compared to a real fox head. Cartoonish features and generally bright, saturated colors play a much bigger role than realism. Head tends to be on the larger side to the body in proportion. The ships of the good guys tend to be comprised of many acute angled shapes and lack curves, which harkens back to the low poly age of Star Fox I for the SNES.

Even before I examined the art style for Star Fox, I had a pretty decent art foundation for drawing. Life drawing, figure drawing, and still life are important things to learn.

Hope this helps! ^^

Alright. Thank you! Now I just gotta find time to draw again. ^^;
Well, crap... I just realized something. I don't have a good art foundation... I'm a self-taught artist, and I got too frustrated in the drawing class ^^; (too much realism.) There goes my foundation overall.

Fox removes it during missions as he could potentially lose it and face Krystal's wrath. :P
