This is part 2 commission for ~cha0sLeader featuring Owen Phoenix, Fara's father. He is a brilliant chief executive in the Space Dynamics Company, responsible for the creation of the Arwing, Great Fox, and more.

This is finally completed! Looks great to me, but I'm sure there's always room for improvement.

Drawing the necessary details for the Arwings is such a pain when Nintendo doesn't provide many different high-poly reference images of the ships.

Edits:
4/30 - Swapped colors with vest and pants. Added more detail to clouds.
5/2 - Tightened up Mr. Phoenix's face and torso a bit. Changed his glasses and belt.
5/3 - Continued to refine Phoenix's look, esp. hands, belts, and slacks. Started to sharpen the Arwing's look
5/14 - Refined Arwings to a satisfactory level. Added more detail to Mr. Phoenix such as fur. Added booster FX.
5/16 - Added a candid-like pads on the hands per request.

I dunno if he's friends with James. A busy man like Mr. Phoenix has numerous clients to deal with.

He looked so nerdy in the bowtie (*cough the comics cough*), I'd almost put him down as Aurelius.

Also, doesn't that little corporate entity of his have a different name? I'd have to look it up, naturally, but just in case.

Mr. Phoenix did look a little goofy in the comics. :P The commissioner and I took his concept and made him appear cooler and more dynamic.

As for the corporate entity, I just went by what was put down in Arwingpedia.

Ah, is that so? I'll have a look at that, then, and see if I can't deliver a deliciously eye-blistering rant for including fan work in canon information.

Either that, or I'll have learned a new thing, and given my fanaticism regarding Star Fox that's never bad.

Looking forward to it.

However according to the resource, there is no indication of who owns Space Dynamics. The commissioner has made the decision to have Mr. Phoenix as CEO in his fan fic.

According to the comics Mr Phoenix is known as the Starship Magnate, which would imply he does indeed own the company.
