Description

My interpretation of one of the unusual nebulae Sector Z.

Nebulae are known to develop unique shapes and forms in the cosmos. It's curious to why the nebula and its kind are relatively small in the Lylat System. It could be argued that the solar map depicted in the games scale these nebulae down to a manageable size for gameplay and navigational reasons. However, they can be actually small relative to other possible existing cloud formations due to them lacking star formations within. It is kind of odd that the Lylat star (and Solar) formed and yet these nebulae still remain. Could it be that these once-wandering dust clouds have origins outside of the system, just seemingly captured by Lylat's gravitational pull?

I'm no astronomer, so I cannot provide any answers, plus it could just be merely videogame logic at work. Maybe I'm looking to much into it. What do you guys think?

I was surprised that the region was not included in SFZ.
