A commission in for ~fiel7d where a quadruped mech named Nightmare Hunter set its sights on the Great Fox III. Fox McCloud and Knight Mirror (OC) must figure out how to tackle the foe as quick as possible.

Star Fox is facing a new set of individual adversary's that have a lone wolf mentality. They seek territory across space to show their statues as the superior lone wolf. And they do this alone, they do not use armies or anything else, just their individual selves to acquire territory. Just one Lone wolf can control a vast amounts of star systems on his own. And they always seek more.
Even systems that hold life are taken as territory, in the event that the system is technologically advanced a lone wolf either drives out the inhabitants, subjugates, leaves them be, or annihilates them. In a worse case scenario a planet is destroyed by a number lone wolfs fighting each other over territory.
The lylat system has now seen 2 lone wolfs, Atlas Terrian, and now Nightmare Hunter. And they are not the only ones out there.
